“RESPECT”

While working at the Gueydan Museum and trying to place art there, I met Charles Larroque and Ronald Gaspard at the Jean Lafitte

National Park the night of the airing of Gumb-Oh! La! La!. I asked them to present some of their films at our museum  and we started to work on such. As time went on I found out about the new series called Coeur Batailleur hosted by Zachary Richard and I asked if I could do a piece of artwork about the films. Charles got me an advanced copy of the first two films, and  I watched them. I was taken with how much they moved my soul. I then asked Claire Decker, another local artist,

if she would like to work on a multi-piece to be presented to the public on behalf of our feelings about the films and the rest is history. After the artwork was done and we looked back we could only name it

RESPECT.
