~ Claire’s Biography continued ~

 

After that, Claire submitted artwork to be considered for an art show,

commemorating the 500 year anniversary of Columbus's discovery of America.

 

She was chosen as on of the 12 American artists to represent America for the Pan-Hellenic Society Exhibit in Athens Greece.

 

 In 1999, Claire had a one woman art show in Kraznovarsk, Siberia in celebration of Women.

 

Claire presently works out of her studio in Lafayette, Louisiana and

regularly shows in area galleries and cafes.  Presently she has work hanging in Artmosphere Art Supplies & Bistro, and Jackson Art Gallery, both in Lafayette, Louisiana. Her online art gallery is  here at

 Claire will be donating time and effort to work with national-award-winning Louisiana artist  Robert Baxter, and others, and created 

the stage sets for the Cajun Comic Relief, sponsored by

Goodwill Industries of Acadiana.
